the red wall incident

here it is. the red wall. but i must say, it looks far better now than it first did without all the fancy lighting. by the way, it took us 2 hours to set up all those little mirrors on the wall because we measured each one individually on all sides using the binder side of an old cassette tape. oy vey! what a nightmare. shawn had his ideas. i had my ideas. we didn't agree, and then finally i did what i wanted to do, and he did the same, and somehow, we got the squares up.

so with all the lights turned on in the apt, it doesn't seem so cave-like. but these pics were taken during the daylight with all the lights turned on.

i complain, but honestly, this is how the apt looked when i came home from a long day at work today. when i come home to this, my soul says "ah!" and i can't wait to sit down and relax. what a curse and a blessing my shawnboy is.
